Once again, Prof. Ryszard Markiewicz considers AI and whether fair use can be claimed for parody or pastiche in AI products. He also wonders about the possible copyright infringement of an image through the formulation of a written prompt when the prompt constitutes a work, and what the consequences are for the AI-created product. I illustrate these issues using the example of a seminar paper by a student who was tasked with preparing an AI-created product related to the copyright infringement issue.
