Damian Dąbrowski for Prawo.pl: Compulsory amount is a unique procedural tool in intellectual property cases

Lawyer Damian Dąbrowski published an article on the Prawo.pl website regarding the compulsory amount and its use in intellectual property proceedings.

“The compulsory amount under Article 756[2] paragraph 1 of the Code of Civil Procedure is a unique institution, used by the court at the request of the entitled party, to secure non-monetary claims, with the intention of achieving the objectives of the security proceedings. It is particularly frequently used in intellectual property cases, including combatting unfair competition.”
